SysTools NSF Split

Know How it Works- Step By Step Guide

STEP 1

Go to: Start » All Programs » SysTools NSF Split Software

From the Wizard Click on "Split"

You will be redirected to next screen where in front of, you will see the four option to split NSF .

Select the required option to split your NSF file accordingly. Either you want to split your NSF file according to Size , Year, Date , or Folder.

Split by Size – This option splits NSF file into the size mentioned by you. The standard size for split NSF is 30MB to 50MB.

Split by Date – With this option you can divide the NSF file into the date range selected. For e.g. you can break the NSF file on the basis of selected date or month you remember. You can split any back dated NSF file.

Split by Year – With this option you can divide the NSF file by year. For e.g. you can split a NSF file between two selected years, FROM & TO ,these two parameters are required to set an year range to split NSF file.

Split by Folder – With this option you can break the NSF file via folders (Inbox, Outbox, Sent Items, etc). Each folder is converted to a new NSF file.

 




STEP 5

In this step, you are required to select the option to Split by Size and click on Next.

In the next step, you are required to browse the NSF file you want to split. Click on “Browse”

Select the NSF file location on your computer and click on Open button.

Select Size of NSF file on the basis of which it should be separated & click on the Next button

Select the Destination folder where you want to keep the output NSF files.

Once you are done with it, click on Next.

All the information has been displayed on screen, check them thoroughly & click on Split.

The Current Status of processing will be shown on screen:

Then a notification will appear that shows successful completion of the process

The process is complete. Now the software will generate a Comma Separated File (CSV) Report containing the log on per folder partitioned from initial NSF files & no. of items it contains.

You can now Compare & View your NSF file report.

In this step you are required to select the Split by Date option. Click Next

In the next step you are required to browse the source Lotus Notes NSF File & click on Browse

Browse the location of NSF files and click on Open.

Select the Date Range using which you want to split the NSF file, then click on Browse button.

Select the destination folder where you want to keep the output files.

Once you are done with it, click on Next.

All the information will display on your screen, check them thoroughly & click on Split.

The Current Status of processing will then be shown on your screen:

Then a notification showing the successful completion of the process will appear on screen:

Once the process completes. It will generate a Comma Separated File (.CSV) containing the thorough log on per folder partitioned made, from initial NSF files along with the no. of items it contains.

Next, you are required to browse your source NSF file & click on Browse

Select the location of NSF files from your machine.

Select the Year Range on the basis of which you want to separate the NSF file.

Select the destination folder to keep the resultant NSF files.

Once you are done with it, then click on Next.

Then a screen will notify you about the successful completion of the process:

Then browse the NSF file you want to split up & click on Browse.

Select the desired Folder Size.

Select the destination folder where you would want to keep the resultant Lotus Notes Database Files.

Once you are done with all, click on Next

All the information will be displayed on your screen. Check them thoroughly & click on Split.

Then a notification comes out showing successful completion of the process:

On the splitting process completion software will generate a report of the same in a Comma Separated File (CSV) containing the thorough log on each folder partitioned from initial NSF files & no. of items it contains.
